Hi, my name is Wanda.

I'm the owner and lead planner of WPD Events. For years I've naturally been the planner and coordinator for my family, friends, social groups, and in the workplace. I've been blessed with countless opportunities to plan, coordinate, and host events both big and small.

From brainstorming ideas and DIY projects to managing endless notes and perfecting the smallest details, there's truly nothing like watching a vision come to life. Bringing people together and seeing their faces light up with joy is a moment I'll always treasure.

The turning point came during my cousin's wedding, where I was also a bridesmaid. As the day unfolded, I naturally stepped into a coordinating role, helping manage details and keep everything running smoothly. By the end of the celebration, I realized that event planning was more than something I enjoyed — it was something I was truly passionate about.

Wanda was an absolute joy to work with while planning my dream 30th birthday party! She met with me weeks before the event, asked me about every component I wanted to have at my party and she was happy to take charge of anything and everything that I needed from her. She also came with me to the party location and we were able to walk through the plan, map out where she would place all the decorations, food, drinks, etc.

She is clearly so great at this role, and she was a wonderful coordinator on the day-of festivities. Wanda set up everything for me and I was able to enjoy the day out in Austin with visitors who came for the weekend instead of worrying about setting up my own party. I would 100% recommend Wanda to anyone wanting to plan any sort of event, and I will be reaching out to her again for any future party plans.

Cousin, I want to thank you because thanks to you being by my side, I was able to be calm as a bride. I wasn't an ordinary bride — I had two weddings, and with that came two happy moments, but also a lot of "little details" that were handled because of your support and love for me.

You were the one who coordinated the bridesmaids, making sure they knew what to do and how to be on the day of my civil ceremony. And then, the next day at the big celebration, you were the one who carried out the coordination of the entire event — the music, the bride and groom's entrance and exit, the extra decorations, payments, outfits, dresses, touch-ups for hair, perfume, deodorant… Honestly, I don't know what I would've done without you. I'd choose you all over again.

Prima, quiero agradecerte porque gracias a que tú estuviste a mi lado, es que yo pude estar tranquila como "novia." No fui una novia ordinaria, tuve dos bodas, por consiguiente tuve dos momentos felices pero también llenos de "detalles" que se pudieron resolver con tu apoyo y amor hacia mí.

Tú fuiste quien coordinaste a las demás damas para los que debían hacer y el cómo debían de estar el día de mi boda civil. Pero también al día siguiente en la fiesta grande fuiste quien llevó a cabo la coordinación del evento mismo: música, entrada y salida de los novios, decoración extra, pagos, ropa, vestidos, peinado "retoque," perfume, desodorante. La verdad no sé qué hubiera hecho sin ti. Te volvería a elegir.
